Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card)

Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card)

A legal permanent resident is someone who has been granted authorization (permission) to live and work in the United States on a permanent basis. As proof of that status, an individual is granted a permanent resident card, commonly called a “green card.”

There are many different ways an individual can become a legal permanent resident.  Most individuals are sponsored by a family member or employer in the United States. Other individuals may become permanent residents through employment, refugee or asylee status or other humanitarian programs.  Contact Scales of Justice, APC to set up a consultation to discuss how we can assist you in obtaining a Legal Permanent Resident Card.
